Good blog post! I agree with your recommendation to search different communities both for improving your PLN and expanding your knowledge. My roommate is a political science major and I’m a biology and psychology major and I’ve learned so much from her and vice versa. It’s quite rewarding to explore different topics and see things from a different perspective. I can provide the biological/ scientific aspect to discussions while she can introduce topics pertaining to society, politics, and sociology. It’s fun to learn new things.
